Private Surf Lessons
Join us for a private surfing lesson or purchase a private surfing lesson package to receive a great discount! All lessons include surfing equipment hire (Surfboard and Wetsuit) for the duration of the lesson as well as access to our lockers,hot showers and change room facilities.

Surf Divas In Action
Are you a Surf Diva? If you are a lady, mom ,gran ,young woman from age 18-65 then you qualify to take part in our Divas Programme!
Do you want to get fit for summer, spend more time outdoors, make new friends,take up a new sport and be adventurous? Now is the time to start surfing or continue and improve with one of our many surf lessons!
Sign up for the 4 months (16 lesson programme) and you will learn everything you need to know about beginner surfing.Don’t miss out on this awesome opportunity,space is limited so book your spot now!
The programme runs for a duration of 4 months February – May 2013 and each lesson is an hour and a half in length.
Please bring a lock for your locker, costume, towel and don’t forget to put on your sunblock before you get to the beach :) We provide you with a surfboard,wetsuit and rash vest for the lesson as well as a locker ,change rooms and hot showers for after your lesson.
Course Fee
The course fee is R400 per month.The fee can either be paid via EFT,cash or cash cheque and is to be paid by no later than the first lesson of the new month. Please click HERE for our banking details.

Programme lesson times:
Group Lesson Coaching
Beginners: Thursday, Saturday, Sunday
Intermediate: 9am Tuesday , 9am Thursday
Individual and private group mobile lessons: Available any day and time
Group Ratio:
Even though the national surf coaching standard ratio is 1:10 for group lessons , the group ratio for the Divas lesson will be on average 1 instructor to 5 participant which will ensure the each participant receives the instruction they need.
Catch-up Lessons
We unfortunately cannot do “catch up lessons” for lessons missed as the group is a “special programme rate” is small and surf instructors still need to be paid irrespective of if you attend or not.

General Lesson Information
Instructors and equipment
Our instructors are professionally trained staff ready to attend to all necessary needs in and out the water. Our head trainers are equipped with a level two ISA surfing qualification approved by Surfing South Africa. They are also qualified lifeguards and trained in first aid.
The Roxy Club is one of the few Surf Schools for girls in and around South Africa approved by Surfing South Africa.Surf instructor ratio (1:5) 1 instructor to 5 girls on average.All equipment for the lessons (surfboard and wetsuit) are provided by the Roxy Surf Club.
