WHAT IS THE PENGUIN PADDLE EXPERIENCE?

Join us on a stand-up paddleboarding adventure starting at the serene Seaforth Beach. As you paddle through the crystal-clear waters, you’ll be greeted by the vibrant marine life below. From Seaforth we head to the beautiful Boulders beach together on a 16 foot SUP with at least 2 experienced SUP coaches. Along the way you will have the idyllic views of the famous False Bay to enjoy. 

Should the conditions not allow us to head all the way to the Boulders beach, we will stop and rest at Windmill beach, roughly half way to Boulders. After a short rest, we can head off to Boulders, return to Seaforth or have our transport collect us and return us to the Seaforth Beach parking lot. 

There is a minimum age of 13 to participate, and all participants must be competent swimmers who are at ease swimming in the ocean without assistance. The sessions are also weather dependent, but don’t worry! We will give you notice the day before if the conditions are not looking ideal.

WHEN DO WE OFFER IT?

Monday to Friday from 07:00 – 11:30

Saturday to Sunday from 07:00 – 09:00 or 11:30 – 13:30

WHAT TO BRING:

• Swimming costume
• Towel
• Sunblock
• Sun hat for activity time

ARRIVAL & FINISH: 

We recommend you arrive at least 15-20 minutes before the start of the paddle to allow yourself time to find parking and get ready. 

WHERE TO MEET?

We launch from Seaforth Beach in Simons Town and end at Boulders. Our staff will be setting up on the beach and clearly visible in our red Surf Emporium rash vets. If we don’t paddle back to Seaforth beach then our transport will meet us at the end location and take us back to the Seaforth parking lot.

COST:

The cost is R600 per person for the experience. 

Please note that spaces are limited and that you will need to pay in advance in order to secure your spot. No payments can be made on the day due to the location.

REFUND POLICY:

In the event your booking needs to be cancelled, kindly take note of the below notice periods required and the refund policy.  

• No arrivals or cancellations on the day of the paddle will receive no refund;
• Cancellations or requests to reschedule with 48hrs of the paddle will receive a 25% refund;
• Cancellations within 4 days of the paddle will receive a 50% refund;
• Cancellation received before close of business (17:30) 5 calendar days before the scheduled paddle will receive a full refund. Refunds are not processed over weekends or public holidays and take 2 business days to reflect in the recipient’s account.
