Do you have a physical store?

Yes. Our physical retail store is in Surfer’s Corner, Muizenberg.

Can I view the physical products?

Although we are not only an online shop, because we also have a physical retail store, some of our products are exclusive to our online platform. Therefore, whilst you can come and see some of our products in store, some products will not be available. Fortunately, we do have a much wider variety and selection online.

Is there a warranty on your products?

It depends on the brand that you have purchased, but in most cases, there is.

How often do you get new products?

We are always looking for new products to add to our online offering and try to do this as often as possible. We also tend to update our apparel seasonally. If you subscribe to our newsletter here, we will keep you updated so you won’t miss a thing.

How do I buy something in the Surf Emporium online shop?
  1. Select the SHOP page on our website surfemporium.co.za or visit www.surfemporium.co.za/shop;
  2. Select the category in which you’d like to browse;
  3. Select a sub category or use our product filters on the right-hand side of the page to filter your search options. You can filter according to brand, apparel, price, stock availability and more;
  4. Once you have found an item that you would like to purchase, select the size and colour; and select “add to basket”;
  5. Once you have finalised your selection, you can click “view basket” or select the shopping cart on the top right hand side of the page;
  6. You then select your shipping or collection preference and select “checkout”;
  7. Continue to complete all your billing details as well as your payment preference i.e. EFT, debit or credit card and select “place order”;
  8. You will be redirected to our safe & secure PayU payment gateway to fill in your details;
  9. You will receive an email confirming your order;
  10. Once payment has been made; we will ship your order or prepare it for collection at the Surf Emporium store;
  11. You will also receive a waybill tracking number and confirmation upon your parcel’s delivery.
How do I know what my size is?

You can use our size chart at the bottom of the products to check your size. Alternatively, you can contact us at shoponline@surfemporium.co.za or 021 701 1580 during office hours, and we will gladly assist you.

What type of credit/debit card can I use to pay?

You can use any Visa or MasterCard credit or debit card to pay for your basket. Unfortunately, we do not accept American Express or Diners Club cards.

Is the card payment option safe & secure?

Yes. Our payment gateway is PayU who keep your financial and personal data safe for every transaction you make. PayU stores your credit card information using strong cryptographic technology to encrypt your card details and only stores this information in a highly secure data centre. PayU is also PCI DSS Level 1 v 3.1 compliant, which is the highest industry requirement for data security standards. We will never share or expose your credit card number or financial details to 3rd parties or merchants. All connections to PayU are over a secure 256-bit encrypted SSL connection. Card details entered by you are SSL and TLS encrypted and stored in our PCI compliant environment.

Can I redeem my Ebucks in the Surf Emporium online store?

No. You cannot redeem Ebucks at the moment.

Can I earn or redeem my Smart Shopper points in the Surf Emporium online store?

No. You cannot redeem or earn Smart Shopper points at the moment.

How much is shipping?

There is a standard R90 national shipping fee for all orders that have a total of less than R1000.00 (calculated based on product(s) and excludes shipping fees). Alternatively, there is a free collection option in which you can collect your order from our shop in Muizenberg. All orders that have a total of R1000.00 or more, will receive free shipping. T&Cs apply.

How long does delivery take?

All shipping is estimated to take 3 - 5 working days from the day of dispatch, for all regional area deliveries. Please allow for an extra day or two for all outlying area deliveries. T&Cs apply.

What are the delivery times?

We will deliver Monday to Friday, between 08h00 and 17h00, excluding special instructions and/or a few exceptions. T&Cs apply.

The collection point is our physical retail store in Surfer’s Corner, Muizenberg.

What are the collection times?

Please take special note of the seasonal collection times.

Winter:
Monday – Sunday: 07h30 to 17h30

Summer:
Monday – Sunday: 07h00 to 18h00

Is there only a collection point in Cape Town?

Yes. Unfortunately, at the moment, there is only one collection point in Cape Town. Should you be another city, you will need to make use of our amazing and convenient door-to-door courier service.
